you are what you mindfully consume

it’s been a crazy week and my life has spun around just so much to the point where i just want to pause reality.

like, order wingstop or chips and watch the new season of love island. the toxic rabbithole i’ve been proactively trying to avoid. because all of the chaotic good has been categorized into a slurry of overwhelming chaos that deems it bad.

i’ve been learning how to cook at home on my own, i planned a party that had over 400 people show up for in less than a week, i’ve been documenting my thoughts into pieces on video that make it mine.

maybe i’ve been doing a lot of things, and need some balance to catch it up. time has moved so fast for me, the art of doing has preceded how fast i can equally process all of that on paper. so much so, i am stumped.

today, all i did was clean up from the party’s aftermath, hop on a call, and catch my friends up to speed regarding the character development i was seeing. and i almost wanted to rot and watch pieces of entertainment so microwave-able that all my brain could do was feel processed and toxic.

but i don’t want my thoughts to be artificial, nor do i want to disintegrate the energy that makes people so-mission driven, so alas—i’m here, writing this piece.

alone. in my apartment’s common room. just me and my sobering, translucent thoughts.
